There is no quantum

Whenever one is tempted to quantify love, it is not love.
There is no counting unit when it comes to love. It is or it is not. Whenever you quantify how much you love someone, this is not love. Most of the time it will be the calculation of how much good that person provides us. That person becomes our services provider whereas the service is to make us feel good. In the least harmful scenario, both are in an agreement of exchange of services, which is the case for most of the current relationships. In its worst, there is a vampire sucking the love needed from the other.
Once the love seed is planted, there is no quantification possible. The love in the seed is and will remain the same in magnitude and intensity. The question is then how do we allow it to grow and manifest itself?
How many times do we hold ourselves back from expressing love because it might be perceived as foolish? Or because we fear to be rejected? Love already is once planted. We need to nourish it during its growth. We need to provide water and sun for the love flower to bloom and fully express its beauty.
