While reading a novel, I came to realise how powerful 0 actually can be. By adding a 0, you can transform a 1 into 10, 100, 1000 etc.
But zero is supposed to be nothing, isn't it?
Then again how come binary system is based solely on 1 and 0 figures, binary numbers being the base of most of our current technology?
Zero and One. One. The Whole. In most European languages the word one will have an 'o' in it. The shape of a circle. Same for Zero. Nothingness.
Nothingness and Whole. Nothingness and All That Is. Nothingness multiplies All That Is. When the two merge does it mean there is no difference between All That Is and Nothingess?
O. Imagine painting it as a zen figure. One is included in Zero. The origin of All That Is is in Nothingness.
Even the dot. One is integrated in the dot and yet it marks an end, an interruption, a pause, a silence. A moment of nothingness.
